My #5 favorite spring nail polish for 2016...

Kiss Me On
My Tulips!!

I had a pedicure a few years ago and choose this color. I knew I needed to pick it up at some point. I was so excited to recently find it at my local beauty supply store. (It is also available on Amazon, link at end of post).
It was released as part of the OPI 2012 Holland Collection. It's a perfect medium toned pink with my favorite kind of formula (crelly). The formula is just plain fantastic! It is opaque in two easy coats. It's so shiny and glorious! Nothing better than a good pink polish.

As you can see, compared to Kiss Me I'm Brazilian, Kiss Me On My Tulips is darker and more blue toned. It very, very close to Essie Mod Square, but Kiss Me On My Tulips is slightly darker and slightly more red toned.

I love orange and pink together and wanted to create a design using both. The orange is a new polish from OPI's New Orleans collection that was released this spring. It's called Crawfishin' For a Compliment, and it's beautiful. Don't you love this combination?!

My #4 favorite spring nail polish for 2016...

Essie Poolside
Service!!

If you have been following me long enough, you should know these blue green polishes are my favorite :)! This one is SO gorgeous and SO perfect for spring. Poolside Service was released as part of the Essie 2016 spring collection.  Click here for live swatches of the entire Essie Spring Collection. The formula is so great- thick, but not too thick and super creamy. It is opaque in one coat, I did two for this swatch. Wow!! So gorgeous!

Here are the comparisons I have from my collection. As you can see it's much more blue toned than Vested Interest and while the same color tone as The Perfect Cover Up, it is much lighter.

I tried my hand at this striped manicure. The first time I did it I tried to free hand it, and while it looked okay, it didn't look as straight as I wanted it to. So I did it again with the help of my nail vinyls from What's Up Nails. (I have linked to all the products I used listed in the description bar of my tutorial). While it took more time to do, I think it was worth it! I love the look! Do you?! Do you think you will try it, and if not what is holding you back?

Here is the same design mattified :). I always lean toward the glossy finish, but I think this kind of look fits with the matte finish. Which do you like better?

Below is the link to the full lenght tutorial.

If you are interested in seeing more of my spring favorites click on the link below. In the coming weeks I will be doing a nail design for each one.

My #3 favorite spring nail polish...

This polish is a new polish from the China Glaze Spring 2016 House of Colour collection. Pale pink polish is one of my favorite colors to wear-anytime of the year! I made a video and put this and four other pale pink polishes to test to see which I liked best. If you didn't see my Pale Pink Polish Showdown video, make sure to check it out - this polish was the winner, and for a good reason! The formula is fantastic (which is unusual for light polishes), and it is opaque in two coats. It also lasted on my nails (with a base and top coat) for 5 days with no chipping. I love it!! You might wanna pick one of these up before they are gone :).

This swatch is two thick coats. You can also see in that video how it compares in color to the other pinks I choose.

I saw this nail design on Instagram and instantly fell in love. I love the french tip and floral combo. It's so dainty, simple, beautiful and feminine. I will definitely be doing more designs like this in the future. What do you think?!

If you want to recreate this design, click on the link below for the full length tutorial. All the products (and links) I used will be listed in the video description box on my YouTube video. Please subscribe to my channel as well if you haven't.

My #2 favorite Spring nail polish 2016...

I Manicure For Beads!!

I Manicure for Beads is new from OPI's New Orleans Collection that was just released this spring. OPI describes it as a luscious purple creme and I couldn't agree more. The formula is everything I could dream a formula would be-it's just perfection. A creme with a touch of jelly. I feel like this would look great on any skin tone as well. I love this purple polish SO much! Do you?!

It's definitely a OCW but, as you know I always apply two. The swatch below is two coats.

I have a New Orleans Live Swatch Video where you can view the application of the entire collection, if you are interested click on the link. I also have comparisons for the entire collection as well. Here are the comparisons I have for I Manicure For Beads. While it's pretty close to Essie's Flowerista, it's more purple toned.

I knew I wanted to do a floral design and saw one similar to the one I created on Pinterest. It's such a bright and fresh floral design:). It's pretty simple if you follow my tutorial, so click on the link below to watch it!  You can go polished too! Also, if you haven't subscribed to my YouTube Channel please do! And, *if you recreate this design use #gopolishednails in Instagram so I can see it!

My #1 favorite Spring Nail polish for 2016...

I fell in love with this color last year and it was part of my favorites for summer in 2015. I had to include it again in my spring favorites :). I said in 'My Favorite Spring 2016 Nail Polishes' video that this was released in Essie's 2015 Spring collection, but it was actually part of their summer collection.  Oops. Anyway, it is such a unique yellow green cream. It shows up quite bright in the swatch below, but with my warmer lights the color is actually more accurate in the bottle picture above- just light, soft and creamy. It's beautiful!!

It has a cream formula with just a touch of jelly. It is opaque in 2-3 coats depending on how generously you paint. I have a live swatch video on my Instagram if you want to see how it applies. My account is @gopolished.

I had a hard time figuring out what design to do with this polish and tried several different designs When I tried this slanted French I just fell in love. It's just simple and subtle and I love it!

Click on the link below for the full length tutorial. I have important tips that make it so easy and doable. All the products and polishes I used are listed in the description bar of my video.
